Meet Jen

Jen Borley RN, MSN is the owner of Alo Health, LLC. She is a Food Enzyme Institute Certified Digestive Health Professional and the Chief Wellness Officer at Alo Health. She graduated from Bellin College of Nursing with a Bachelors of Nursing degree in 1998. Jen’s nursing career has been diverse and has spanned the entire lifespan. She has cared for and guided women during pregnancy, helped deliver babies in labor and delivery, worked in orthopedics, neurology, mental health, home health, public health, long term care and hospice. Her desire to expand her knowledge lead her to complete her Masters in the Science of Nursing from Gonzaga University in 2011 in Nursing Education. She has served as adjunct faculty at colleges in Green Bay and the Fox Valley. Jen began her Digestive Professional work in 2018. She became part-owner of Alo Health in February of 2020. She introduced PEMF to the clinic in late 2020 to help grow the business and help people live happier, healthier lives through cellular exercise. In August of 2022, she became the sole owner of Alo Health and since then, Jen has expanded the wellness offerings at Alo Health to include Inhaled Hydrogen and Red Light Therapy. Jen is dedicated to lifelong learning. Her drive to uncover the root cause of symptoms lead her to explore holistic, complimentary, and alternative approaches to wellness when traditional treatments were not effective for autoimmune and hormone issues. She believes that people can reach their wellness goals with education, determination and support. As an Alo Health Practitioner, Jen works with each client to optimize their wellbeing. There is a lot to look forward to! Alo Health is expanding its reach, and looking to further your wellness journey by offering functional wellness testing for hormones, microbiome, and toxins.

Jen lives in De Pere with her husband, Scott. They have three adult sons with whom they enjoy spending time. Her interests include hiking in nature, reading, tending her houseplants, and learning more about God’s healing gifts on this planet.

Meet Katelyn

Katelyn DeWitt is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Biomolecular emphasis. Over the past 12 years she has been a chemist in the pulp, paper, and ink industries, completing research and development, quality control, and regulatory affairs.

In early 2023 she was diagnosed with high blood pressure. Her physician considered this to be somewhat of an enigma, as she was young and very healthy. She knew there had to be something at the core that was causing this. She began to dig deeper into the research. Her drive to understand the upstream root issues would lead her to functional health. As she began to discuss the research with friends, family, and coworkers, they began asking her questions about issues they were having and this sparked a calling to learn more so she could apply her knowledge to support others.

As a Health Coach, Katelyn looks forward to transforming lives through encouragement and support. She will bridge the gap between where you are and the person you want to become. There is a person inside you that is waiting to be uncovered! With her guidance, you will journey through self-reflection, awareness, and forgiveness.

Do you see men and children?

Yes, we see men and people of all ages at Alo Health.

Is Alo Health a medical health care provider?

No, Alo Health practitioners do not practice medicine. However, we believe that the body can overcome symptoms when provided with the right nourishment and elimination of stress. It is important that you consult your medical provider for disease related issues.

Does Alo Health offer remote services?

Yes, we have remote services available via phone or virtual platform.

How do I pay for my services?

We accept most credit cards, HSA cards, cash, and checks. Alo Health does not have payment plans. All service fees are required prior to receiving services.

Can I use my insurance to cover for the cost of my services?

No, Alo Health does not file insurance. However, most clients are able to use their HSA or FSA without a problem. Please confirm with your benefits provider.

What do enzymes do?

Digestive enzymes pre-digest food and support a healthy immune response.

How do I take “empty stomach” enzymes?

Take them when your stomach is empty, which is typically two hours after eating. Avoid eating for at least one hour afterward.

What if I forget to take my enzymes?

No worries! If you forget your “with meals” enzymes at the beginning or during your meal, simply take them after. If you are struggling to take your enzymes as recommended, reach out to us and we will adjust your schedule.

How long will I need to take the supplements?

Every body is different, and every individual experiences stress in a different way. Our goal is sustainable support by supplementing where needed, eliminating stress, and by making lifestyle and mindset changes for lasting results.

Can I purchase supplements even if I am not a current Alo Health client?
